Ransom Riggs

Ransom Riggs was born in America 3 February 1979. He grew up in Florida. He studied English literature at Kenyon College, and studied film at the University of Southern California. He collects vernacular photographs and on suggestion of an editor, Riggs used the photographs for a book. A book you probably have heard of. “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” was born, which made The New York Times Best Seller list. In 2016 it was adapted into a film (which you should definitely watch if you haven’t already, because it’s amazing, 10 out of 10, would recommend). This series has two other books, in order the sequel “Hollow City” and the third instalment “Library of souls”. He also made a book of a book in the main book :D yes that’s right! “Tales of the Peculiar”.
